MY favorite movie!! I even have the book. Has see and review. We can't get enough of the review. Poetry, youth, freshness, education, etc. Who has not dreamed of having Robin Williams as a teacher? It is unbearable to get out of the DVD shortcut compared to the cinema version. A shame absolute!! Nothing too special, especially after all of the hype is around this movie. It gains in definition and color processing seems to finally regain some balance, from this point of view it is night and day compared to the DVD edition. However, the HD reveals not only the details of the image, but stresses that the noise/grain present on the film. Some will tell you that the problem with the noise, it is not to force the dose on the digital filters at the risk of also remove a good portion of the information (and therefore decrease the definition)... but we are in 2014 and the algorithms of image processing have evolved tremendously in the past few years. So here we have a blu ray in the picture honourable, but on which it seems possible to do better. Also of note for fans of VO : no possibility of getting rid of sub-titles which are only available in French. This is becoming an unfortunate habit on the part of French editors. Side bonus, it's the bare minimum with a documentary exclusive entitled "The enigma of the name" HD + the audio commentary by Jean-Jacques Annaud. Do not expect anything else. All of the bonus included in the collector's edition DVD published by Warner in 2004, has purely and simply disappeared. We don't even have the right to the trailer. Same remark concerning the presentation of the box (goodbye beautiful cardboard case with embossed and spot varnish edition Warner).
